Program Manager

Rina Olea, Program Manager has managed BCC's Gabriella Patser Program since 2002.  Rina has more than 6 years of experience in program development, operations management, and community outreach.  Rina is fluent in Spanish and assists BCC's Spanish speaking clients with health education and medical interpreting at their appointments. Rina currently serves as the Chair for Una Mano Amiga, a coalition of community agencies serving the Latino community, which provides Spanish-language breast cancer support groups and services. Rina also leads BCC's efforts for uninsured and medically underserved women in the Bay Area.  She received the "Barrier Buster" award in 2004 for her advocacy work in that arena.
