Complementary Therapies Fair

Saturday, June 26, 2010, 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

Held each year in June, the Complementary Therapies Fair is designed to inform, inspire and connect those touched by breast cancer to different therapies which can aid in their treatment or healing process.  2009 topics include:  Healing Rhythm (Drum and Singing Bowls), Massage, Ayurveda, Raw Vegetarian Diet, Nia Technique, and Naturopathy with lunch catered by Cafe Gratitude in San Francisco.

Honoring Life: A Celebration and Remembrance

Tuesday, May 11, 2010, 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Every May we come together to honor life, to remember those we have lost to breast cancer, and to celebrate the love and support we get from our friends, loved ones, and ourselves through this life journey. Survivors, clients and therapists share their journeys and stories, followed by a candle lighting ceremony accompanied by the Threshold Choir.  Our theme for our 2010 event is the pansy flower, symbolizing remembrance, reflexion and renewal.
