Volunteering at BCC
Volunteers are truly the heart of BCC, offering intelligence, energy, imagination and love to help others whose lives are touched by breast cancer. Our volunteers help in so many ways, each offering individual talents that combine to weave the unique web of information and support we know as BCC.

Critical to our ability to provide high-quality services are volunteers who do:
- Direct client service as a Helpliner, Buddy, Medical Appointment Planner, or on our Breast Health Education Team.
- Administrative support which includes such projects as keeping the library information up-to-date, computer work, writing, assembling mailings, and marketing and public relations.
Our volunteers connect at our monthly volunteer/staff potlucks, mailing parties, trainings, helping at special fundraising or outreach events, and at our volunteer recognition events.
Training is provided for all positions. For more detailed descriptions of some of our volunteer opportunities, click here.
To discuss how your interests can be matched with BCC projects, and for more information on joining our Volunteer Community, please call Irene Liana, our Manager of Volunteer Resources, at (650) 326-6299 ext. 16.
